Winter, 2010: Dr. Seger participated in a humanitarian trip to Peru with VOSH (Volunteer Optometrists Serving Humanity). The VOSH group included 4 practicing optometrists, as well as 14 optometry students from UC Berkeley School of Optometry. There were approximately 1000 people seen for eye exams. Glasses and/or a supply of medicine were given to those that needed them. While there, Dr. Seger personally assessed the eye health and triaged about 250 patients.
