Ronald G. Seger, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Seger attended the University of California at Berkeley where he received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Optometry. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Seger worked in contact lens design, contact lens solution and opthalmic solution research and development for thirteen years of his professional career. He progressed from Associate Research Optometrist at Bausch and Lomb to Director of Lens Design and Clinical Research at Cooper Vision. Three US Patents have been issued in his name. He continues to provide consulting services to major contact lens companies. During the mid-seventies, he was in private practice with his father and brother in San Luis Obispo. He has been providing vision care in Mountain View since 1988.

Jenifer Webb, O.D.

Dr. Webb represents the third generation of the Seger Family to practice in California. She joined her father's practice as partner in 2008, but has been seeing patients since 2007. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Sonoma State University and a doctorate in optometry from The Ohio State University. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. Dr. Webb has a special interest in children's vision and is an active participant in the InfantSee program. She enjoys spending time with her husband and sons.

Shani, Certified Optician/Paraoptometric

Shani is a certified optician (American Board of Opticianry) and paraoptometric with more than 15 years of professional experience. She has managed dispensing and fitting needs for the practice since 1999. Her experience and skill in matching frame sizes and designs to the individual needs of every patient ensures a comfortable fit and a "good look" every time. Shani works closely with a host of leading optical-product vendors to give patients a wide-ranging selection of traditional, contemporary, stylish and brand-name frame designs. Away from the office, Shani likes to camp, hike, boat and pursue other forms of outdoor recreation with her two sons.

Kathy, Receptionist/Paraoptometric

Kathy joined our practice in 2004. Her organization, teamwork and initiative have proven invaluable to the practice and helped balance staff workload for optimal patient service. Kathy honed her skills during a 20-year stint as a "supermom" volunteer and program organizer in the Mountain View public schools attended by her two sons. She holds a degree in business from Westbrook College in Portland, Maine, and enjoys gardening, camping and golfing with her husband and sons.

Leigh Ann, Receptionist/Paraoptometric

Leigh Ann joined the team in the fall of 2008. The daughter of an optometrist, Leigh Ann serves as a receptionist. She taught elementary school in Colorado before moving to California with her husband. She received her bachelor's degree in language arts and education from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Her personal interests include spending time with her dog, reading, writing, and running.

Vicki, Insurance Administrator/Paraoptometric

Vicki joined our practice in July 2009. Her varied background includes customer and software support in the High Tech industry as well as marketing in the Business Brokerage industry. Vicki currently serves as our insurance administrator.  She enjoys cooking, gardening and hiking in her free time.

Michelle, Optician

Michelle has been serving our office as an optician since 2010.  She comes to us with seven years of talent and experience in this position.  Michelle received a bachelor's of arts degree in business marketing from San Jose State University.  Away from the office she enjoys traveling, biking, and spending time with her dogs

Anna, Laboratory technician/Paraoptometric

Anna joined the practice in 2006.  Over the years she has served various roles including laboratory technician and receptionist.  Anna received a bachelor's degree in film and digital media from UC Santa Cruz.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, drawing, and brewing craft beer.
